Our Hudson Street Jazz Orchestra (HSJO) first came together as a band late in 2019. We had our first gig in the week before Covid shut the world down in 2020 and we have come out even stronger after the Covid years.

Our musically experienced band members come from an array of backgrounds and locales. Each band member was shaped by a variety of music genres that all played influential roles in our paths as musicians and ultimately led us to come together in this band.

As the Hudson Street Jazz Orchestra, we have found our signature sound and we offer something different and unique. We play everything from jazz standards through to modern pop and jazz tunes. We can play classic gigs for enjoyable listening, lively gigs for energetic dancing or a mix of both for a great afternoon or evening!
